You can keep it simple with defaults and get your font running quickly, or dig into the depths of kerning, ligatures, and tables to fashion a complex font.
As its name suggests, Text to Wav offers a way to convert written text into sound files, but thanks to a vague interface and lack of help, we're reluctant to recommend it.
THIS IS NOT the program's fault, and really shouldn't reflect negatively on its review.
Has accomplished all I needed to go from scratch to complete sets of fully kerned, professional looking fonts.
If you need a font creation program, buy v9.

Almost every time I posted an issue on the forums I would get a response within half an hour from Erwin or someone on his team.
The sophistication of this program rose to the level of aiding me in making a true contextual cursive font, likely the hardest type of font to create.
You've probably already read reviews about the technical mastery of this program so I'll reiterate my praise of Erwin's customer service instead.
Nothing else to complain about.
They are all very knowledgeable and experienced.

You can view the fonts in different colors, sizes, and styles, as well as turn antialiasing on and off.

Just in reference to the some comments in the previous review, the font the reviewer refers to as being distorted is a font with known problems of distortion which would also be distorted if opened in Word, for example.
I'm not saying it has to be free.
But what that means is that your software will be updated and patches and support for your program is truncated.
